About us
Established in 2022, Wigmore Women's and Children's Hospital is a modern multidisciplinary medical center focused on providing exceptional healthcare services for women and children. With a 220-bed capacity, the hospital is fully equipped with 10 operating rooms, as well as specialized neonatal and pediatric intensive care units (ICUs) and an emergency medical care department.
The hospital offers a wide range of services, including general pediatric and specialized care, women’s health and maternity services.
Wigmore Women's and Children’s Hospital aims to contribute to the growth and systemic development of the Armenia’s healthcare sector, enhancing the quality of care and setting international standards of healthcare.
According to the Ministry of healthcare decree No. 3350-A of July 6, 2023, Wigmore Women's and Children's Hospital was awarded the third, highest level of pediatric care.

Dr. Zaven Koloyan is an orthopedic spine surgeon and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wigmore Group, a healthcare network that includes Wigmore Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Wigmore Clinic, and Wigmore Family Health Center.
Holding a degree in economics from Yerevan State University Mr. Koloyan later earned his medical degree from the Yerevan State Medical University and pursued further education at Harvard Medical School, completing postgraduate programs in Surgical Leadership and Hospital Management.
Dr. Koloyan has been actively involved in the healthcare sector as a surgeon, entrepreneur, and executive, leading multiple medical institutions․
Through his leadership, he has contributed significantly to the advancement of modern, Western-oriented healthcare practices in Armenia, improving patient care and medical innovation in the region.

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Hrachuhi Ghazaryan is a pediatrician and healthcare leader with extensive experience in clinical practice and medical education. She serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Wigmore Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Head of General Pediatrics and Pediatric Subspecialties at the National Institute of Health.
Previously, Dr. Ghazaryan led key departments at Wigmore Clinic and Arabkir Joint Medical Centre, driving advancements in pediatric care. A graduate of Yerevan State Medical University, she completed her residency at the National Institute of Health, earned her PhD, and trained in pediatric leadership at Harvard Medical School.
An active contributor to the field, she is a Board Member of the Armenian Pediatric Association, a former Country Representative for ESPID, and the author of over 20 scientific works.
Dr. Ghazaryan is also a proud mother of three daughters.

Tatevik Koloyan is a seasoned public policy and management professional with extensive experience in development and promoting sustainable change in Armenia. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Wigmore Group, she leads initiatives that foster international partnerships in healthcare and support systemic reform through education and public relations.
Tatevik’s career spans over two decades, including key roles with the United Nations Development Programme, where she managed the Innovation and SDG Finance portfolio and contributed to Armenia's environmental and sustainable development programs.
Tatevik holds a postgraduate degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London and has pursued advanced policy advisory course at NY Columbia University. She is passionate about leveraging innovation and systemic solutions to address Armenia's developmental challenges.

Shahane Mnatsakanyan has graduated Yerevan State Medical University department of general medicine. Afterwards she received her second bachelor’s degree in Public Health from American University of Armenia. She served as a Quality Assurance Manager at National Centers for Disease Control under MoH for three years.
She held positions of National Laboratory Consultant in WHO Armenian country office as well as Laboratory Quality Auditor for MoH. After she continued her education in Harvard Medical School postgraduate educational program and was trained in Quality, Safety, Informatics and Leadership in Healthcare.
Currently she holds position of Chief Operating Officer of Wigmore Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Interim CEO of Wigmore Clinic also she is a resident of National Institute of Health in department of Epidemiology.

Dr. Karen Akopian is a maxillofacial surgeon and healthcare manager with extensive experience in clinical practice and medical education. He serves as the Chief of Staff at “Wigmore Women's and Children's Hospital” and works as a maxillofacial surgeon at “Wigmore Clinic”.
Previously, Dr. Akopian held several key positions at Yerevan State Medical University, including Chief of Staff, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Advisor to the Rector, and Head of the IT Department. He also led the Centre of Excellence in Stomatology and served as Deputy Director at "Kanaker-Zeytun" Medical Centre.
Dr. Akopian graduated from Yerevan State Medical University, where he completed his residency and subsequently his postgraduate studies, earning a PhD in Medical Sciences, as well as an MBA. He has published one educational manual and 11 scientific articles in Armenian and international journals.
In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Akopian is an accomplished painter and poet. His creative works reflect his inner world and his love for humanity and art.
Dr. Akopian is married, has two daughters and a son.

Dr. Narine Navasardyan is an obstetrician-gynecologist with extensive experience in clinical practice and teaching. She serves as the Hospital Administrator of Women’s Health Services and as an obstetrician-gynecologist at Wigmore Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Navasardyan’s professional interests include reproductive health, endocrine and adolescent gynecology. For over 20 years, she has taught obstetrics and gynecology at Yerevan State Medical University named after M. Heratsi.
A graduate of Yerevan State Medical University, Dr. Navasardyan completed her residency at the Ott Scientific Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also graduated from the American University of Armenia, with a Master's degree in Public Health.
